about

This piece has been with me for about ten years now. It still sounds as wild to me today as it did when I recorded it. This was the first piece I really worked out after Meisha went on our first hiatus. This is around the time I first became interested in manipulating acoustic sounds and I had wanted to make something that was a lot scarier and more schizophrenic sounding than anything Meisha had accomplished. I was obsessed with the Digitech Multi-play and Echo pedals and wanted to make a piece that really highlighted them. I also had a Digitech Time Machine rack effect that I used a lot during my Meisha days. The vibraphone sounding keyboard part at the beginning is an overdub. Everything else was done live with no post production. I have released this a few times in the past in very small editions.
