"Every Christmas, as a tradition for almost as long as I can remember, I spend the evening in my home recording studio, capturing whatever inspiration comes my way. This year's exploration gave birth to the enchanting aural landscape of 'Sonic Visions,' a deeply introspective musical experience capturing the spirit of spontaneous artistic expression and self-discovery. The interplay of enchanting and interweaving strings (including hammered dulcimer, monolina, zither, resonator guitar, and nylon-string classical guitar), along with pulsating gongs, bells, chimes, and the rods of Val Bertoia's Soundation Sound Sculpture instruments, imbues the music with a distinct cascading feeling and character. The blending of slowly shifting tones and timbre transports listeners into realms inspired by spiritual jazz, folk, and experimental landscapes, yet it remains deeply enmeshed in Tamburo’s Sonic Vision. Tom Hall returns for an artistic collaboration, interpreting the music and Tamburo's sonic exploration into a psychedelic album cover."
